Xbox Games With Gold gets two classics for free this month

Xbox Games with Gold continues to deliver one of the best deals in gaming. Every month, subscribers get four free games usually around $100 in value. The deal is broken up into two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games. The first two being free for the first half of the month, and the second two being available for the second half. In September, both 360 offerings are fantastic ports of old-school games. Zone of the Enders HD Collection and Samurai Shodown II will be free for all Gold subscribers! If you’ve never seen either game, you can check out the footage below!

Zone of the Enders is a hack and slash and third-person shooter mech game produced by Hideo Kojima originally for the PlayStation 2. The HD collection brought the first game in the series and its sequel in HD to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. Samurai Shodown II is a 2D fighting game that saw SNK delve into samurai combat with its fighting game formula. It was released for arcades and the Neo Geo in 1994 to massive success. As a result, SNK decided to port the game to the 360 in 2008.

Zone of the Enders HD Collection will be available on Gold from September 1st to the 15th. Samurai Shodown II will then follow and be free from September 16th to the 30th. Both games are backward compatible with the Xbox one and the Xbox Series X/S. Are you going to pick up either of the 360 ports? Let us know below!
