Yakuza: Kiwami 2 is not getting a localization announcement at PSX 2017

For the past couple of PlayStation Experiences, there has been at least one Yakuza localization announcement. At PSX 2014, SEGA announced Yakuza 5, followed by Yakuza 0 in 2015 and Yakuza 0 and Kiwami in 2016.

During a recent live Twitch stream, Yakuza localization producers Scott Strichart and Sam Mullen announced that there would be not be any new Yakuza localization announcements at this year’s PlayStation Experience.

Regardless of the sad news, Mullen and Strichart said that 2018 would be a great year for Yakuza. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will launch in the west on March 20 for PlayStation 4.
