Ryu Ga Gotoku series (aka Yakuza series) is one of the most popular franchises in Japan and SEGA’s, no doubt about it. After its 1st week to be out in Japan (Period: January 18 – January 24, 2016), Ryu Ga Gotoku Kiwami, a remake on the original 1st title in the series, reigns supreme in the 1st place in the all platforms sales in that country.
The title has sold 103,256 units on the PS4, plus 60,427 more on the PS3, making a total of 163,683, which is a good number so far.
It is also nice that Odin Sphere Leifthrasir has taken the 12th and 14th spot.
