You can begin pre-downloading Scorn
Get ready to enter the nightmarish world of Scorn right as it drops!
With the spooky season in full effect, many gamers are looking for new frights to find in games. You can only play Outlast or System Shock so many times before you know every scare coming. Seems like Microsoft is aware of this. Because they’re getting players ready for the upcoming release of Scorn.
Releasing on October 14th, players can begin pre-downloading the new survivor horror title onto their Xbox. There is no confirmation yet about the PC. But expect that to go up by the end of the week. I can also confirm that the pre-loading worked fine on my Series Xbox Series X, and came out to about an 18 GB file size.
It seems Microsoft and the developer Ebb Software are confident in Scorn before its release. Demo previews have been all over the board, criticism-wise. But personally, that tells me we’re getting a horror adventure that’s going for a unique angle. Whatever the consensus will be, we’ll find out very soon.
