If you know SEGA music, you know the name Yuzo Koshiro. The legendary composer of SEGA Genesis classics such as Streets Of Rage 1-3 and The Revenge Of Shinobi. He even had legendary soundtracks on SEGA’s competition at the time, the Super Nintendo, with Actraiser. The man is a legend when it comes to video game composers, but he rarely performs live.
So, fans attending BitSummit this year in Kyoto are in for a huge surprise! Yuzo Koshiro will perform at the festival along with Professor Sakamoto on August 6th and 7th! Now for fans who can’t attend, the performance will be live streamed on BitSummit’s Youtube Channel! Fans worldwide will be able to catch the show as well!
This is a massive treat for the gaming community. Koshiro has so many memorable soundtracks fans of any console can name one they adore. His live performances are a feat many in the gaming community have never seen before. The idea of getting two chances to see him on a live stream should have any fan of his work ecstatic. I already have both days saved on my calendar to watch. If he plays this, I’m losing it in my apartment.
