Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol getting remasters this June

The 90s were certainly the golden age of 16-bit gaming. Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol delivered amazing graphics and addicting gameplay, where you and a friend could mow down monster in 70+ levels. Although they did not commercially sell that well, the games did get a cult following.

This week, Disney and Dotemu announced the return of these Lucasfilm Games classics. These remasters will largely remain the same, but include some bonus content for diehard fans of the series. The game includes a museum feature, where you can “watch a video interview with one of the original Zombies’ developers or explore numerous galleries containing game art, previously unreleased concept images and marketing assets.” In addition to the museum, fans can listen to the soundtrack from both games at any time!

We definitely recommend playing co-op, so grab your closest pal (or dog) and take advantage of 2 Player Mode. The more the merrier I always say. For those who have to get up and go, you can save your game anytime, anywhere. Trophy finds will find solace knowing achievements are included in both games as well.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol launches for Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 29.
